La Mancha Gallery is honored to be hosting the Arts Pavilion 2018 at the 23rd Annual Central Avenue Jazz Festival!

La Mancha Gallery will once again be hosting for the 5th year in a row The Arts Pavilion at The 23rd Central Avenue Jazz Festival. A very large 60’x110′ foot tent that will house cutting-edge art from top artists in Los Angeles as well as live muralists. This year featured artist will be Mohammed Mubarak

Curated by Omar Holguin the selected artwork ranging from all sizes and mediums will include a live painting presentation by renown muralist and artist EnkOne,  the magnificent fully functional cardboard sculptures of Ron Zeno, talented artists like Kevin T. Williams, Ngwachaku Ike, Darren Smith-Robinson, Buena Johnson, Richard E. Photography, Kraig King, Piece by Piece Nonprofit Organization, Nick “The Artist”,  Mario A Hernandez, Crowned Artist, Wendell Wiggins and many, many more. There will be a voting booth on site to get people to register to vote.

Virtually all of the artists represented had personal and emotional connections to the neighborhood and the African-American jazz culture which had flourished there in decades past. Many artists participating have achieved widespread recognition, even worldwide acclaim.

The 34th Kingdom Day Parade Art Exhibit! A celebration of the life and legacy of Martin Luther King thru the arts

 In celebration of Martin Luther King Day, Kingdom Day Parade, Art aficionado’s enjoyed a collection of cutting-edge art from the emerging culture of diversity with its distinguished talent. The multicultural talented artists included some of Los Angeles most renowned visionaries who proudly exhibited at the 34th Annual Martin Luther King Parade in Leimert Park which was presented by the Congress Of Racial Equality. The select and historical exhibit took place on Monday, January 18th, 2016 where it was curated by esteemed Omar Holguin, who is the Director of La Mancha Gallery. Select artist for the exhibit included Ron Zeno with his renown recycled cardboard sculptures to the comparable and colorful abstract post cubist art of Darren Smith-Robinson.

“This event celebrates the life and legacy of Martin Luther King thru the arts” said Holguin of La Mancha Gallery. “From renown muralist and artist George Combs paintings and even Don Frazell’s Judgement Art Chapel, a tribute to John Coltrane were all featured in an exhibition that challenged the status quo and its institution. The Artist Exhibition was exclusively premiere for its people of Los Angeles to see while enjoying a day out at the Martin Luther King Parade”.The Martin Luther King Parade and Art Exhibit took place at Leimert Park Plaza which was located at 4395 Leimert Blvd, Los Angeles.

La Mancha Gallery will be hosting for the 4th year in a row The Arts Pavilion at The 22nd Central Avenue Jazz Festival. A 60’x100′ foot tent that will house cutting-edge art from top artists in Los Angeles as well as live muralists and a “John Coltrane Chapel” art installation.

Curated by Omar Holguin the selected artwork ranging from all sizes and mediums will include a live painting presentation by renown muralist and artist EnkOne, a “John Coltrane Chapel” art installation by artist Donald Frazell, Mexican Artist Xavier Yarto, the magnificent fully functional cardboard sculptures of Ron Zeno and talented artists like Kevin T. Williams, Alexander Sedoyan, Darren Smith-Robinson, Sly Fabu and many, many more. The art installation by Stephen M. Gates will be set against the backdrop aesthetic of black tubes, colorful hats and lampshades with white trees accents.

Directly across from the historic Dunbar Hotel, the beautifully-restored mecca for jazz legends of the l930’s and l940’s, Virtually all of the artists represented had personal and emotional connections to the neighborhood and the African-American jazz culture which had flourished there in decades past. Many artists participating have achieved widespread recognition, even worldwide acclaim.

La Mancha Gallery will be hosting for the 3rd year in a row The Arts Pavilion at The 21st Central Avenue Jazz Festival. A 30’x80′ foot tent that will house cutting-edge art from top artists in Los Angeles as well as live muralists and a “John Coltrane Chapel” art installation.

Curated by Omar Holguin the selected artwork ranging from all sizes and mediums will include a live painting presentation by renown muralist and artist EnkOne, a “John Coltrane Chapel” art installation by artist Donald Frazell, Mexican Artist Xavier Yarto, the magnificent fully functional cardboard sculptures of Ron Zeno and talented artists like Kevin T. Project Description

in celebration of Martin Luther King Day Art lovers in Los Angeles enjoyed a collection of cutting-edge art from upcoming local talent and some of Los Angeles most renowned artists for the 31st Annual Martin Luther King Parade at Leimert Park presented by the Congress Of Racial Equality, Monday, January 18th, 2016 The exhibit will be curated by Omar Holguin, Director of La Mancha Gallery and in collaboration with The Vision Theater, a 40’x40’ ft tent will be provided to house the art exhibit that will feature art of all sizes and mediums, from Ron Zeno’s recycled cardboard sculptures to the colorful abstract art of Darren Smith-Robinson. “This event celebrates the life and legacy of Martin Luther King thru the arts” said Holguin of La Mancha Gallery. “From renown muralist and artist George Combs paintings and even Don Frazell’s massive installation of Judgement Art Chapel, a tribute to John Coltrane all featured in an exhibition that is open for the people of Los Angeles to see while enjoying a day out at the Martin Luther King Parade”. The Martin Luther King Parade and Art Exhibit took place on January 18th, 2016 at Leimert Park Plaza located at 4395 Leimert Blvd, Los Angeles. The parade will commence at 9:00am while the art exhibit tent opens between 10:00am—6:00pm.

Art Installation Feature

La Mancha Gallery set up will included 40’×40′ foot tent provided in partnership with the Vision Theater, The tent housed the art installation from cutting-edge art from top artists in Los Angeles as well as live painters, muralists and graffiti artists. The art installation by Omar Holguin will be set with green plants and easels as well as a 20×20 foot art chapel installation.
